I went to the store 4 days ago, when I exited my car the doors wouldn’t lock and when I got back to my car the doors were still unlocked, when I went to start my car it wouldn’t turn over, I had no power to car but got error message key initializing please wait. I’m told I need a steering lock cost $1600.00. I bought 2011 C300 8mos ago only had 7k miles now has 14k. I own 4 Mercedes one is a 1998 CLK and I have never had these mechanical issues except for my R class. Is this a common problem with the C class, if so should I sell or get fixed? If I fix can this happen again? If this is a common problem, why isn’t there a recall?
