Engine noise when decelerate, and RE-START
Hello guys, I got c250 1.8 and sometimes I hear a noise like rattling when decelerating, and I have the same problem when I stop (shop and stay )and restart the car several times! The noise goes off after 2-5 seconds.
Today at the 4th re-start of the car turned off! Then I restarted again, still made 2-5 second noise, and then goes off.

The timing chain is dying. A common problem on an M271 engine.
I strongly advise you not to run the engine until it is checked-out or you risk destroying the engine.
