MB C220 ECU, EZS & ELV change
Hi all!
I have an MB 220 w204 where i lost a key to the car and have problems with the original EZS not accepting the key from times to times.
I have due to that changed out the ELV, ECU and EZS from a donor car so I now have 2 keys and a working EZS.
However... some problems have appeared now such as SRS light staying on and the milage not being displayed in the instrument cluster anymore.
When I read the DTC's in the SRS I get an error code that VIN is mismatch.
I have R270 and Xentry passthru version 2020.3.
What would be the best and quickest solution to this problem? I've checked with a MB dealer and a new key and new EZS is more expensive than the car itself almost so that's not an option for me.
Is it possible to read out the dump from EZS where the VIN is included from R270? Can I then upload that dump on the forums and you can change the VIN to the VIN that belongs to the car originally?
Does the VIN then also have to be changed in the ECU after changing it in EZS?

the Problem is the SSID, you have two option put original back, and replace EZS using original data or change the SSID in the modules to match new EIS/Keys can PM me if you need help
