Bad gear change on hard acceleration

Hi,
I have a w204 automatic gearbox 2012. Recently it happens that when i come to a stop or in a low speed and do a hard acceleration, the change to a lower gear before it launches is so bad it pushes me forward, like when you drive a manual and you switch from 5th to 2nd for example. In high speeds or if i do a smooth increase of speed this doesn't happen, but when i do the hard acceleration the car has this problem ( not always bur often ), not only me but all the passengers notice the push forward , its really uncomfortable. No warnings lights show up in the dashboard when this happens. Can this be a gearbox problem, or maybe something related to the turbo or fuel injection? Thank you so much for the help.

What's the mileage on the car now and what was the mileage when the last transmission fluid and filter change was done?

Hi. The mileage is approx 125000 and I had the transmission fluid and filter changed the past summer, and I haven't done much traveling.

In this case, your best and first option is to do a reset for the transmission control unit adaptations. It requires MB's special diagnostic tool called Xentry. You can take to any shop specialized in MBs and ask them to read any transmission fault codes. If none are found, then go head and do the control unit adaptations reset.

I think you are doing this action in "comfort" mode where the gearbox normally pulls away in 2nd gear.
If you floor it is does a hurried shift to 1st which causes the jerk.
I think you will find if you do the same action in "sports" mode it will be fine.

Hi, thanks for your suggestions. The thing is that this issue started happening 6 months after i bought the car. I used to drive it the same way from the day i bought it, but i never faced this issue.

Do you get a check engine light when this happens? Do you get the similar problem say when you are merging on the highway and you floor it? I'm wondering if the problem is related to the high-pressure fuel pump which is common on these cars.
