Passenger Side Mirror Tilt in Reverse
I have read countless threads on tilting the passenger side mirror automatically in reverse.
All the previous threads do not state what controls this functionality.
It appears the U.S. market either turned off the option or did not build with functionality.
My 2009 C350 with P1 (xenon, memory seats etc.) does not allow.
Perhaps @Chris The Swede knows off the top of his head?
Q 1. Is this correctable function via Xentry?
Q 2. If not programmed, what parts are needed? e.g. door control module, specific mirror etc.

Here is the process as I understand.
- Switch on the ignition.
- Select the passenger side exterior rear view mirror.
- Shift Transmission into reverse
- Adjust the passenger-side exterior rear view mirror so it shows curb view.

Mine is working fine.
Your four setup steps are correct. Mirror selection needs to be on passenger side, otherwise mirror will not tilt down in reverse.

I never thought about storing mirror-tilt into memory. If you don't have auto reverse tilt then it is a way although it needs extra push button actions.
