2010 C300 Struts and Shocks
Hello all, I know there are many threads on this issue of MB struts choices but I just wanted to throw it out here to see your feedback. I thank you in advance for your patience. In essence, my struts and shock absorbers are really bad. Ideally, I would like the same ride quality I had before (the wonder years), and at the same time I would love to save some bucks if possible. So the million dollar question is: Do Sachs do the work? Anybody with car made beyond 2010 who has a story to tell? My car is a 2010 C300 Sport, 3.0, Gas. I am not interested BTW on grounding my car with coils and that sort of stuff? Which struts will give me a close to original ride and also keep the car at the same level. I mean, I heard some struts make cars higher....and that would be awful...
Again, thanks for your patience. Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I am in the same process at the moment with my 2008, with mine the front of the car has gotten lower over the years but front shocks work well. I suspect it it sagged front springs so I have ordered genuine Mercedes springs same p/n as original and when they arrive i will install them.
The other issue you may also have is the front upper suspension arms the bushes are fluid filled and need replacing periodically.

I have replaced the above front upper arms and they made a big difference to how it steered and I now have the lower arms on order to do.
Shocks I would just go with original Mercedes and on ebay there is some not bad prices on new genuine front shocks.
These are the p/n for my Mercedes may not be correct p/n for yours.
