Sway bar end link dumb question.

2013 C300 4matic Sport.
What side of the strut should my SBL's be mounted to? My damper has 2 identical spots where it can mount to. They seem to both fit. I looked on WIS but it didn't help. I looked for some pics and vids online and most show it in the rearward (pointing to in the pic) hole but it seems like they had different sway bars than I do. My sway bar mount holes are forward of the axle with a 180° curve up over the axle, going towards the rear of the car. I no longer trust anything installed previous to my ownership of the car after finding some things done improperly.

How you have it the photo is correct, the strut is made to fit L/h or R/h side of the car hence two holes.
