I am the owner of 2013 W204 C250 (Facelift) with AMG package, but I have not had rear view camera installed on my vehicle. I have regular LCD Display with Becker Navigation, and regular raido unit that does not have memory slot in front.
I am trying to install the DIY camera kit as shown below,
Image 01. (This is the Camera package I am purchasing from the eBay.) I know this blue connector is being connected to the camera RCA (video) to send video out to the radio unit.
This camer kit comes with the blue connector that you can direlty plug in to one of connectors behind the raido unit as shown below.
And I wonder if I can just detach the yellow connector that is next to grey, replacing it with blue connector of camera kit to activate the camera.
I could not be able to MB post related to this question, and I wonder if this works.
And if I detach the yellor connector and replace it with blue one, do I just leave the yellor connector in the air behind the radio unit after I install the camera kit?
I cannot find more details about this, and if there is anyone out who had knowledge and expereicne installing the same camera kit, please leave your comments and share the instruction.
