Over the past month, I've received the following message on the dash numerous times: Risk of Rolling Away. Vehicle Not in 'P'. Every time, the vehicle is parked and the shifter is in Park. Sometimes the vehicle is running, other times not. One time it appeared when I opened the car door and the car had been siting overnight. What might cause this? Is this a sensor malfunction in the shifter? A sign of worse things to come?
