Noise coming from the engine, need help figuring out what it could be
Hello. I Have a weird sound coming from my w204 c350 (m272.961) engine. Idler pulleys are new, water pump is new, tensioner pulley is very recent, water pump is brand new, crankshaft pulley is brand new. The noise comes on during a cold start and it takes a few seconds to kick in. It disappears after the engine warms up. I feel like the noise source is somewhere around the power steering pump but the longer i listen to it the more i start hearing it coming from every direction. Neither AC compressor nor power steering pump have been replaced before. The car is from 2008, driven 80k miles.

A little more info
The noise is not present when driving or when revving the engine up a little even on cold start. The noise isnt that loud. It’s obvious when you’re upclose infront of the car but inside of it you cant hear it. Also forgot to mention that the serpentine belt is brand new and the car was scanned with some mid tier scanner and showed 0 faults.

Something is loose. Check your work on the front end accessories you replaced.
