PicoScope: Intercept Crankshaft Sensor?
Hello Forum Members,
Based on recommendation from members in this forum, I'd like to do a multi-channel probes using Pico, Autel, Hantek and the like. On M272/W204, it's very easy to get to probe camshaft position sensors (intake and exhaust) on bank 1, no problem at all. The challenge for me is to find the crankshaft position sensor. It appears that it's buried a little deep down below the MAF in the back of the engine? Then the question is: is there a way to intercept the crankshaft position sensor Wire at SAM box, PCM or something in that nature? I saw other guys who are working on other cars such as Toyota, they could intercept the crankshaft sensor wire away from the crankshaft position sensor itself. Thank you for your help!
