W204 GPS signal issue
I have a 2011 c250 that came equipped stock with audio 20. I retrofitted a Comand aps ntg4 from c350. Had the firmware updated and coded to my car. Everything works great but the GPS will not pick up satilires. Always sets back at Jan 1 2000. I tried aftermarket GPS antenna and a OEM one. It's plugged into the correct spot still nothing. Had a mb programming shop take a look also and coupding figure it out. They came up with wnro issue and xentry wouldn't find the file. I bought a ntg4 from 2011 w212 with Bluetooth audio. Installed that and everything works hoping GPS would also but same issue. This shop has done many Comand retrofits into cars that came with audio 20 and had success with GPS working. Please if anyone can share me with your knowledge of a solution it would be greatly appreciated. I asked the mb dealer and they said they wouldn't touch it since my car didn't come with Comand.
