C350 confusion
Hello, guys.
I am interested into purchasing W204, 350 facelift (2011-2014). I saw there are mainly 2 versions of W204 350s.
- 272hp without direct injection
- 306hp with direct injection.
As I asked several people about the both engines, I am very confused where the truth is. Some say 272 engine in the facelift is far better than the 306 hp engine, while some say the opposite (that 306 hp engine is the best).
I would kindly ask you, if you can respond to my questions. I will number them, in order to receive direct answers.
1) Which engine do you consider better, and why?
- 1.1 272hp (2011 - 2014)
- 1.2 306hp (2011 - 2014)
2) What are the problems related to the engine in the both variants (only engine problems - chains, pistons, etc) ?
- 2.1 272hp (2011 - 2014)
- 2.2 306hp (2011 - 2014)
3) What is the fuel consumption in the both engines l/km?
- 3.1 272hp (2011 - 2014)
- 3.2 306hp (2011 - 2014)
4) Is there a 306 hp variant without direct inection?
- 4.1 - yes
- 4.2 - no
5) What are the other variants of petrol engines above 200 hp for W204 facelift models?
