Five-speed auto box issues.
Hi all. Has any changed/serviced conductor Plate on the 5 speed auto gear box.
I’ve changed the oil and filter twice as it’s never been changed in 170k miles. So I’d thought I’d give it some love.
Now I still getting a lag on the gear kick down and up. Worse when it’s cold, it almost feels like I’ve got no power. But if I have the car in neutral and rev the engine is perfectly fine so something towards the gearbox issue.
Now looking into it, I think the conductor plate inside the box behind the sump has issues with solenoids not engaging. Has anyone else had this issue?
