Get it scanned for any codes. Wheel speed sensors have been a popular complaint lately. There are several scan tools. BlueDriver will scan all modules and clear codes. iCarsoft MB V3.0 does all that and some limited configuration functions. Start with either of those. Both are very cost effective and will help diagnose your problem. Every Mercedes owner that comes to a discussion forum looking for help should have a scan tool. I actually think they should come standard in every car, but that would severely impact a major profit center at the dealership.

I also have a MaxiDAS DS808, but I don't know if the MaxiSYS let's you do steering wheel angle calibration/adaptation, but you may want to check that. Sometimes all sorts of weird things happen that you think have no relationship. But I can see if the ABS doesn't work how other functions would be disabled.
There has also been discussions about wheel speed sensors going bad. Again, I can see how a bad signal could confuse the ECU and cause other functions to be disabled.
Does the MaxiSYS also run an automatic scan of all modules?
