Sidemarker error help
Hey i just changed over to clear sidemarker lights and now I have a sidemarker error for both of them. What happened? I did the ignition cycle and no luck and I find it odd that both of them are magically blown. any ideas?

Are the new side lights LED? LEDs not made specifically to avoid CANBUS errors will give a light fault in the instrument cluster.

Actually it's the same bulbs.


I don't even remember removing the bulb to install the clear lenses.

If they’re not lighting, then maybe fuses??? Checking fuses is easier than trying new bulbs. Those W5W lamps are inexpensive but a bit of a PITA to get to.

Does the bumper sidemarkers have their own separate fuse? If so would you happen to know which one?
