Cooling seats on when unlocking car?
Hi all,
I have a C180 W204 with the heated and cooling seats options.2011 facelift model.
I've had the car for over 3 years and it's been great however recently I've noticed that recently when I unlock the car the cooling seats is automatically on and I'm baffled as to why. At first I thought maybe it's cause I've left it on when I last drive but I've confirmed that it's not the case and it's very random.
I've seen some other manufacturers that offer auto heated and cooling seats by setting temperatures etc however I haven't set anything and it's only the last couple weeks I've noticed this.
Any help will be appreciated.

I can't speak to the W204, so not sure if it applies, but I have a C205 C63S with ventilated seats. The ventilation of the driver seat automatically turns on if I use the convenience open feature. Press and hold the unlock button on the fob to lower the windows and open the sunroof and at the same time this turns on the seat ventilation to help cool down the interior before getting in. Is it possible that you are pressing the unlock button too long?
