DPF clogged - W204 - Yr 2010
Hello everybody. Anybody can help me with a detailed procedure on how to deeply clean the dpf?
I have bought both JLM diesel ADDITIVE and the SPRAY CLEANER to pour inside of the filter through the hole of the temperature sensor.
The JLM shows how to put the additive and how to spray the liquid inside of the dpf filter but doesn't explain what to do after that.
A guy from the company told me to drive for about 1 hour on the highway at 3000 rpm. This means, with my car, that I will have to drive whith the 3rd gear at about 90 km/h.
I am afraid that I will damage the engine doing that!
Do you think it is the right thing to do?
