New to the forum. I just had my ESL replaced with an emulator but after re installing everything I have the message 'front right malfunction consult service centre'. I think this is because the guy who fitted the emulator connected the battery with the airbag disconnected and I don't have the correct obd2 tool to clear it (just have a cheap Bluetooth one). Has anyone else had this problem?
The only other thing that occurred during installation was I broke the little red tab inside the steering switch module. I think this is just a mechanical stop for when the steering wheel is removed. Does anyone know if that's correct? See photo. Cheers
