Hi there.

I have a 2010 C300 4Matic. I'm looking to replace the foglight bulbs to a whiter one.

Can someone please tell me whether the foglight bulb size is an H7 or H11.

I've done a search and can only seem to find the answer for U.S. models. In Canada, we don't have Sport vs Luxury. So if someone in Canada has changed their fog bulbs, can you advise as to what's the size? Also, is there a good recommended shop in Toronto to buy them?

Thanks.

I think it should be H7 for the avantgarde.

I'm not sure what spec it is. It doesn't say anywhere. Not even on the website or owner's manual. Even the owner's manual doesn't state what size bulb it is.

According to the manual, pg. 431, the front fog/cornering bulb is an H11.

Thanks.

You have a sport, so you're gonna need H7. You're close by? is that a YRT bus in the background? To be safe, check your steering wheel. Is the steering wheel a "T" or does it have 4 spoke?.. the T would mean you have a sport model.. but looking at the picture you have a sport model.

I have a T steering wheel, so I guess I have Sport. Yup, that's a YRT bus. This pic was taken at the dealership when I picked up my car.

Do you know of a good place in T.O. where I can buy some H7 bulbs? Looking for the white ones. The yellow ones right now are nasty!

It would be good if you could use the search function. This topic has actually been covered many times before. Anyway, the options you have would be either Philips Crystal Vision (4300k) or the Diamond Vision (5000k) depending on your preference.

people say that the crystal visions 4300k are good but make sure you get the just CV4300k and not the crystal visions PLUS. I got the CV PLUS at costco for $50 and they were still too yellow for my likings. After those I just went to pmall and bought a set for $20 and they match my xeons really well. Only problem is that light output is greatly reduced but it's only fogs so..

I have to say that the stock halogens bulb in our fogs are pretty bright! I have the CV right now and they are a tad lil bluer than my xenons, but I am sure it will all blend in once the color shift even more. But from a distanace I dont think there is anything else that can match better than the CV4300k

Well I have the Diamond Vision on my lows. Now I'm thinking whether i should get CV for the fogs or I should just stick with Diamond Vision as well. From what i know, the lenses for the low beam and the fogs are different so I'm afraid the output in colour would be different as well. Any idea people?

Have an '09 C300 Sport, & want to change the foglight bulbs to the 65w Osram Hyper clears. Would changing from 55w to the 65w cause any wire/harness problems longterm? I can't imagine much draw difference. Thanks for any advise.

Have a 2009 C300 W204, Sport, the foglight bulb IS the H7, I ordered the H11 by mistake, but can use them for the high beams.Just spent an hour putting them in. TIP; there are 3 tabs on the holder base, 2 have beveled edge, the 3rd tab is smaller & has no bevel. Once locked into place that 3rd tab should be in the 3 or 9 oclock position depending on which side you installing..Hope this saves you some time.
