Intercooler hose oil leaking



So, the problem is the oil dripping from the hose which goes into the supercharger from the intercooler.. I just noticed it yesterday after done the oil change. This morning its was 2-3 oil drops on the ground as i removed the under cover to see really if there was leak. Folks, do you have any ideas what could be the real issue. I bought this car a few months ago. And its c200 2010 kompressor, it has 187k kilometres on it. I changed the oil every 8k kilometres with mobil 1 0w-40. Thanks your suggestion will be appreciated.. 😊

Pop the hose off and check the internal seal.

yes, buddy the internal sold hose seal was broken inside.. is it okay if drive it like this for a few miles.. and do i need to change the seal rubber only or the charge pipes too.. Thanks please explain little bit more. cheers

The seal is available separately. You will loose some boost pressure till you fix it.

hey buddy thanks for your help.. so, there is a oil leaking. it might be sound stupid to ask.. but is it necessary the engine oil to stay in that pipe or it could be another problem too? cheers

Hey buddy, sorry to interrupt you… Would you like to share your knowledge.. I just went to the local mechanic, he said it needs a new supercharger costing will be around $3000 including labour.. Is it really the case or is he trying to foul me.. he said the oil is leaking from the supercharger.. please reply

How much oil are you leaking ?
Are you having to add oil to the engine ?
Find an independent MB shop.

well, yes every 100 kilometre i check i have to put a little oil every time.. i will take it to the reputed mb mechanic..
