Headlight lens restoration options
I just picked up a 2013 C300 4matic sport with the bixenon option. The headlights have some mild pitting but show a little hazing on the inside. I want to restore them to pristine condition and apply PPF.
What are best options to restore them?
Can just the lens covers be ordered? (as genuine MB parts)
Has anyone had luck with the shells offered on eBay? I'm concerned about the quality, and would like to know if they will haze or yellow with time.
Last resort would be replacing the entire headlight assemblies but that's going to be a pretty penny, especially since the guts are in good condition.
What do you recommend is by best options?

But removing the original lens and properly sealing the new is quite a chore.
Are you certain there is fogging on the inside of the lens? As you are aware, the outside can be restored easily and effectively.
Another possibility. I removed the headlights in my Boxster and had them sanded then clear-coated at a local body shop. The result is impressive, and because they are clear-coated, you can apply wax as you would to the paint to protect the finish.
I’ve tried the restoration kits but the results are never anything to write home about. Nowadays I just replace them. Really changes how fresh the car looks, especially for a 2008.
