Replaced the driver's side front side window several years ago. This video would have helped me quite a bit. Removing the riveted aluminum panel and replacement was labor intensive. Hope this helps

Welcome.......I remember getting the new glass down in the slot a bit tricky, sliding it down at one end and then rotating it back to horizontal while keeping it in the tracks.

My mechanic wants 340 labor +104 for glass
He states "have to remove the window regulator and clean and vacuum all broken glass."
Safelite is right down the street although I wonder if that's factory glass. We have rain coming on Saturday. Figures!
I can probably do it but I need a drill bit plus rivet gun.
Damn vandals.

UPDATE
We have rain ☔️ coming in Thursday thru Saturday then slapped again Monday thru Wed.
So I was going to buy the tools but considering the weather I will have Glass USA do it for $250 with OEM glass.

I would have done it but I needed a drill bit and a rivet gun. So more down time.
The weather came in fast and there was no time. It's been snowing north of Los Angeles for the 1st time since 1974!
It's definitely absorbable. They had done in 1.5 hours. It came out well in the end.
