I have to part with my excellent, hardly driven AMGGLA45. It's down to either a 2012 C350 sedan w 20k miles or a 2008 CLK350 with 60kmiles.
What would you guys vote for? Don't say the AMG, I need to sell it.

I'm still here. My 2009 CLK 350 has been the finest Benz I've ever owned of many. It is a wonderful vehicle and only has 30K miles on the clock. Highly recommended. Only failure a single stop lamp bulb. Otherwise totally trouble free. A 2008 will be after the timing chain balance shaft sprocket issue. A small batch of sintered sprockets were delivered by one supplier. Long out of the M272 engine..
Highly recommended. Just run in at 60K miles. It's a million Km powertrain with ease.
My number of posts is a rod for the back. The number of PM's & e mails I get is enormous.

TY Glyn: friend's 200k milage 2012 C350 needs engine harness?
TY Glyn... here is a weird coincidence, a friend of mine has the exact year/car I have, but they have over 200k miles instead of 20K miles. They did an engine overhaul and need an engine control module and engine harness on their 2012 Sports Sedan w204... is it true that only Mercedes dealer can do this work? The car apparently drives until it shuts down...

I dont know that much about Mercedes, got my current C300 because it's 4 wheel drive and I do really like how it looks. I had to look up CLK350, are they all 2 doors? I dont really care for the round headlights and I got my current C300 because I really do like how it looks. Just the Sport models, I dont care for how the Luxury looks. And then a car that is 4yrs newer and 40, 000 miles less would be my choice. But its all what you like better. I cant speak about maintenance, engines, transmissions since I don't know much about them to begin with.

Not sure where you are (were) buying from now seven months later, but I hope you got a mechanic’s inspection first. What did you end up doing?
