My Mods List

If adding the CarPlay/Android Auto Module doesn't count.

I bought the C63 diffuser, mounting brackets and all new tips from the dealership and scored a pair of endpipes from a donor C300 at my local boneyard. It then spent all morning at the muffler shop.

Next up: lowering the rear with Brabus springs and installing Monoblock R wheels

OEM exhaust tips

Nice! There are quite a few options for lowering, haven't seen Brabus springs but quite a few popular options otherwise

Brabus springs seem to never have been a popular option, probably due to the price.

I had them on my W212 and loved them - perfect drop and just a hair firmer than stock.

Stage 2 complete. New headlights, Brabus rear springs and Brabus Monoblock R wheels. I went with a square setup - 245/40/18 all around, no rubbing. I'm debating on installing the 5mm spring pads when I do the K-Mac bushings which should arrive Friday.

Next stage: I just had a new set of calipers Cerakoted. Hoping to install them in about a week. In the meantime, I'll finish wiring up my Escort Ci Max 360

I should be pretty much done by then.

I have to walk this back. On hard dips, especially at higher speeds or with passengers in the car, there is some rubbing. I think it's just the wheel well liner but it gets annoying. Back to the drawing board.

My wheels are 18x8.5j, running ET 45 in front and ET40 in rear and leaning towards sticking with Continental Contiprocontact. I'm having a hard time deciding whether to go:

Front 235/40/18 Rear 265/35/18: worried the rears will bulge too much
Front 235/40/18 Rear 255/35/18: worried the smaller tires in the back will look odd
Front 225/40/18 Rear 255/35/18: worried the fronts will be to skinny and offer no rim protection
Square setup: 235/40/18: worried the rears will look to skinny/bland

What's your opinions? I'd love to hear your feedback as I'm really not up for buying tires for a third time

Thanks. Here's the CarPlay unit I installed, which I sourced on Amazon. It was a pain to install and it took a couple software updates to get it working right but I like it. I debated an aftermarket head unit but I really enjoy the height of the factory screen, plus the factory menu availability.

The car looks good. I got a quick question tho how do you program the ECO mode? ever since I changed my car battery the star/stop function kicked in I didn't even know the car had that lol.

Mid City Engineering sells a module that you plug into the OBDII port that reprograms the function so that it remembers the last setting you use. So once you turn it off, it stays off until you activate it again. Such modules may also be available on ebay.
