Looking to get a C350 and need Help
Looking at a 2013 Merecdes C350 rebuilt title but thats not a problem for me, but the problem is the Front SAM Module. Whats the cost and difficulty to DIY it and how much would it be to take to the shop and how large of a problem will I be dealing with

How was the pyrofuse... after crash ?
I see that job being around $1 to 1.5 k including used parts. If you try to suply your own parts, you'll be charged labor to find out they are not compatible... live a little.

The Front SAM is in between you and a lot of things you want the car to do. If you’ve run down whatever symptoms you have and know it’s the Front SAM, then have a go at it.
However, if the seller said, “It just needs a Front SAM and everything will be fine. I just haven’t had the time to change it,” that’s a big red flag. There are persons on this forum who have spent months to years and thousands of dollars after being told “It’s just,” yet still don’t have functioning cars.
I had a car with a rebuilt title and it was fine. But I have a well equipped shop, have been at this for decades, and have many acquaintances who I can turn to when I get stumped.
