Passenger Seatbelt Alarms intermittently
Car - 2012 C220 CDI Class Estate Sport.
A couple of times yesterday and the day before, the passenger seatbelt alarm was sounding and the only way to stop it was to put the seatbelt on. It has not done it today but I bet it will happen again.
Does this sound like the seat occupancy sensor or faulty wiring? Or something else I’m unaware of?

My 2013 sedan has been doing it intermittently for about 3 months now. It occasionally puts up an instrument panel notice that the passenger airbag has been enabled. I’m guessing seat sensor because it comes and goes. It’s going to the shop for PM in a few weeks and I’ll have it checked. I’ll post what is found.
