What’s this noise?

Got this car a few days ago, needs a new conductor plate etc etc etc… something I noticed, is there’s a whining type sound that’s very noticeable in the cab that I don’t know what it’s correlated to. Could it be caused due to the lack of pressure the solenoids are giving? Here’s a video of the sound can anyone tell me what it might be? Thanks!

Sounds like the power steering pump. You probably need to replace your driver's seat belt buckle, as well.

I’ll have to take a look into that, but the noise seems to be coming from the bottom of the car. Possibly the torque converter or transmission pump. Not to worried for the airbag light atm as i feel the car needs to drive before safety becomes a factor lol. Thanks!

Get a scan tool and see if there are any transmission codes. A scanner is absolutely the first "accessory" you want to get. Otherwise, you'll never really know what problems lurk unless you take it to a shop and you'll pay more to have the shop scan the car for you. Check Amazon for:
  • iCarsoft MB V3.0 (not MB II)
  • Launch Creader Elite Benz
  • Foxwell NT510 Elite
  • BlueDriver

All run between $100 and $200. BlueDriver is the least expensive and a pretty good scanner if you just want to know what codes are there and to clear them. Beyond that, you'll want one of the others. They all will automatically identify your car and scan for codes, and give you the option to clear them. The top 3 will allow you to do other things if you ever start tinkering, such as changing your brakes, resetting maintenance counter, etc. Even if you don't do your own maintenance, it's good to know what is going on. You have a complex vehicle and need to know when something important is wrong or not.
