AMG Sport package.
Ok so obviously I'm new to the Benz world. My question is what is considered an AMG Sport? What's the difference besides the 3.5L? I know the AMG wheels and not 4Matic. Is it an entry level AMG appearance package? Excuse the ignorance; but Google has different views on the C350. This probably has been brought up, I went searching in the threads but I haven't found anything or I'm just not good at maneuvering the site lol. Thanks in advance.

Good question. In general, I think the AMG sports package on an non-AMG car is just cosmetics, whereas the Sport vs. Luxury models have difference performance components, such as a different suspension. In the case of the C350, it has the highest performing engine for the C-Class before you get to bonafide AMG cars.
If your C350 is a Sport model, you may have different wheels and a rear spoiler on the trunk.

Yes absolutely right. The lil spoiler, AMG branded rims, 3.5L and I'm pretty sure the suspension and a tad bit different exhaust note compared to the C300. I've compared with my neighbor who has same year & color C300 (😂 and his has a bit quieter exhaust note and the C300 has about 40 something or so less HP. I mean I've always had the faster or quicker trims in certain vehicles but this being the quickest reg V6 ive owned. Beats my 02 Mustang GT outta the park for a good few seconds on a dig. Mercedes knows what they're doing & I'm happy they've made the C350. Gives me a good feeling driving the thing. Lol.

You get different shaped body, different speedo like AMG-Mine has(not all-dealer showed me in person), different suspension, wider rear wheels than front, paddle on steering wheel, Comfort & sport, sporty brake padles etc. Running the car in sport it feels brisk and faster, revs higher before change gear, it also warms up the engine more quiker than cruising in comfort, in sport it chew rear tyres(Conti). In country where I live this shape is rare one could say for W204, so I chose it from Mercedes website(Other shapes looked boring to me), wait 8 months for it to eventually arrive, nearly cancelled the deal.

According to the 2008 C300 Sport brochure AMG is mentioned 4 times:
- AMG intake to cool the brakes.
- AMG wheels. 17" standard on 350, 18" optional on C300.
- AMG trunk spoiler.
- AMG front air dam w/mesh intakes, side skirts and rear apron.
Im guessing everything else is under the option code for "sport". like suspension
