BenzNinja's Transmission Performance Program
@BenzNinja added his transmission mod to my 2014 C350 today and it breathes life into the engine (actually, just the transmission). It's "kinda" like the responsiveness you get from something like Pedal Commander, but without the reliability and drivability issues. (I removed Pedal Commander from my car because I had some instances where I lost pedal response and sometimes it was just too touchy.). And, because it is exposing a factory mode that is "hidden", all of the benefits of a "factory" configuration is there. The other nice part is that you can select Manual mode from the mode selection button. Overall, I highly recommend this mod.
Here's the description:
"Sport+" or "Agility" as well as Manual modes can be added to the selection cycle for the transmission (in addition to just E/C and S). Sport+ is even more sporty than the well-known S-Mode. Agility is a happy medium between E and S. Manual will hold the gear until you are ready to shift. Also, in all modes, the accelerator pedal characteristics are changed resulting in more driving pleasure.
As I have said elsewhere, I thing the Agility (A) mode is more "aggressivbe" than the Sport (S) mode.

Not to take away from this mod, but something must have been wrong with your pedal commander, or differences in motor/year combination that causes your described issue. PC on my 2008 C300 has been flawless. I buried it under the carpet towards the firewall, and I haven't touched it since install.
Associated app however, while usable, is ad-infested garbage. That's ok since I don't like switching between modes. I set it, then let my brain and foot do the rest.

Also, BenzNinja's configuration change is a lot less expensive than Pedal Commander.

I had Pedal Commander on both my 2004 SL500 and my 2014 C350. I remember a couple of times when I lost complete throttle response and had to turn the car off and back on to "reset" it. It may have been on the SL500 since they tended to have pedal issues anyway. Still, it added a layer of risk while driving and I decided to remove them from both cars. Coulda been a one-off issue. And it could have been my cars. I don't want to besmirch Pedal Commander because I never contacted them about it -- my bad. But with Agility mode already available in the TCU and only needing to be enabled, I feel much more comfortable with the configuration change @BenzNinja was able to make.

Thank you.
Depending on engine and engine ecu software. now that you mentioned the word "pedal"
acceleration pedals also often have several maps available and can be set to different curves
worth to try always. results vary, sometimes amazing
