ABS, EPS & Cruise Control inoperable + Steering wheel buttons not working
Hi Everyone!,
I own a 2008 C300 4Matic Sport and had some issues this morning. The night before I had driven through a pool of water which subsequently ripped the front part of my undertray guard down to the ground, I had driven the car around without noticing and it had been fine. This morning I ran errands and my ABS, EPS, and cruise control were inoperable. Moreover, the steering wheel buttons were useless, and the blinkers, volume control, and horn did not work. Overall, the actual car/engine itself is running fine as I have gotten used to how the engine feels while driving, the steering is also fine it does not feel hard or like the power steering is going out. I have heard that most of the time this is the wheel speed sensor, but it does not make sense to me that my steering wheel functions would go out in unison. I tried the steering lock reset to not avail, checked the fuses, and I have already ordered the speed sensors to replace the existing ones. Are there any other ideas anyone may have? I couldn't find another post with this exact problem. Thanks!

Do you have a Mercedes scanner, like iCarsoft or LAUNCH Creader?

You checked the fuse box in the engine bay, and there was no signs of water?
I'll say a Mercedes specific OBD scanner would be a good idea right now. Will lead you in the right direction and save time and money on replacing parts that may not even be the issue.
Or you may get lucky and it may dry out, whatever is wet and start working again.

I did check the fuse box and didn't see any signs of water. I bought an OBD scanner and came up with code U0121. I will do a little research and see what the main cause of this code is most of the time for my model. Thanks for the reply.
