No power to ac and engine cooling fan on.
Hi all..
I have a 2012 c200 w204.
Basically the car came to me after being elsewhere. It was parked for 1 week. Then owner said battery was flat so jump started it with booster pack. Noticed after a day or 2 the climate control is not powering up. Also the cooling fan come
S on full when engine's started. All fuses seem ok. I have a snapon scanner and the active codes are
1.engine communication with ac message missing.
2. Abs no can message from control unit n73 ignition lock control module.
3 rear sam heater coil for rear windshield heater has short to ground or open circuit.
4 reversible tensioning retractor front left.
Software error.
5 reversible tensioning retractor front right. Software error.
No other faults.
I'm not familiar with these cars as I usually work with trucks so any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

A/C is not in charge of fan module... it request the ECU to ramp up the fan speed.
As far as your DTC List No1 and 2 are of concern. Before you start chasing your tail, let's realize 90% chance these particular faults were caused by low voltage.
- Float or replace batteries
- reset all faults
- Rescan for fresh active faults.
At some point, work on high battery drain caused by CAN-B modules.

You have to sort things out a bit. The fan can run full speed if A/C circuit has a low charge. So read your refrigerant pressure.
