C350 - Cruise Control / Lim not working
Hello, the car is C350 from 2009. Cruise Control and Limiter (they are on one stick) are not working. No fault message showing on dashboard. Ran Xentry Diagnosis - no faults, even the Cruise Control is giving the right signals (read by Xentry, Up, Down, Front, Back, every position is giving the right signals, even it shows as "700 Tempomat - INSTALLED") but Limiter is not giving any signals when clicked. Checked all fuses - no blown fuse. I know Cruise Control is related to ESP and Brakes - no faults there aswell. My doubts are some coding was done in the past with previous owners and CC stick is not coded properly - it sends the right signals but somehow they are not getting to "the car". Do you have any ideas or I should try re-coding the module? Tried configuring it with Xentry but it freezes on loading current configurations (I am using some old version that is not very stable). I know it can be re-coded with Vediamo but I have no idea how.

No, Limiter light is not turning on. When reading tempomat values it shows:
short click up - +1 step speed increase, full click up - +10 steps speed increase
short click down - 1+ step speed decrease, full click down - +10 steps speed increase
forward click - turn off tempomat
backwards click - go back to speed saved in memory
What do you mean by cgw, esp, ecm, ic coding?

It seems that the lever works correctly then.It must be coding of one of those units then. The IC may be poorly coded but it does not intervene in the operation.check the other units with vediamo or similar

Do you know what I should look for when checking coding of these units. For example I know SCCM166 (Steering Column Control Module) is where Tempomat is coded (whether is available or not as an option). I thing CGW is most related to the Tempomat not working, but I don't know what should I look for when examining the values.

There are many ECUs working with each other, never take anything for granted.
