Brown is ground and green is 12v. Confirm this with your multimeter.
What brand are the fog lights? Did they come with installation instructions? Do they come with a separate switch, relay?
Im assuming angel eye fog lights have 2 settings, either the surround is light up and then the center fog and surround is light up. Is the surround light up whenever the car is turned on? And the center fog light turns on with the fog light switch?

I actually bought the same ones as OP, yes green is positive. I wired the ring to the fog and tested with a battery worked fine used an adapter to connect to wiring harness and it flashes every 10 seconds in what I assume is the bulb check (failing). I added an anti flicker adapter it did not help. Wondering if these fogs require a complete new relay but that’s seems stupid. I’m not familiar too familiar with Mercedes electrical

I was looking around and if i understand correctly the main black and red wires (center light) go to the fog light harness. To have the ring light up with the car turning on those two wires should be spliced into the daytime running lights. Or just connect all the negative wires together and all positive wires together using the fog light harness and the entire halo fog light turns on with the fog light switch.
I dont think a relay is needed since im assuming the halo fog lights are 30 watts, and the original fog lights are 55 watt bulbs. Should have plenty of power to run them without blinking.

With the halo installed and car running (fog light switch to OFF) do you get a bulb out warning on the dash?
The bulb check I believe occurs when you start the car, it sends a small amount of current just to check.
I would really need to see the halos product packaging to get an idea of the correct wattage. Need to see what they are rated for.
