Hi all, I have a C Class 350 2018, the media unit has stopped working, SAT-NAV fine. No use of mobile phone, no DAB radio, no possibility of internet radio.Official MB garage says fuse is fine it is a connector box above the rear wheel arch which has suffered water damage. Has anyone else had this issue and if so what was the repair outcome. Thanks in advance RV
Im not sure about a 2018 but my 2010 had a water leak in the trunk from the fasteners at the trim, they were old and brittle. I replaced them with fastener part# 0009915940 and solved the water leak. I got a bunch off eBay cheap. As far as the faulty unit, id look for a replacement if its water damaged. Find the part# on it and buy the same one. Used off ebay probably is cheapest.
Since we're on the topic, it's because the rubber ages, degrades, and the car's natural body flex will eventually shear the top half of the plug clean off.
