Brake and tail light error ??
Hi getting a random “check tail and brake lamps” code and noticed that my tail lights are staying on all the time . Anyone have any idea what would cause that? Checked the rear Sam and it was dry .

Have you inspected every single bulb back there? Remove the bulb carriers in the trunk and check the bulbs with the lights turned on.
How do you get them to turn off?
When they are on does working the headlight switch turn them off?
When they are on does anything happen if you press the brake pedal?
Have you looked under the spare tire for any signs of water, it will usually collect under there if there is a water leak into the trunk.
And scanning the car with a Mercedes specific obd reader would be helpful.
