Quote: Autospies sucks. Where's the major scoop...they sub to a few euro mags, and then repost crappy quality scans on the AS site.

These guys have jumped the shark. There own smugness lately I find intolerable.
Yeah, really disappointing what has happened to Autospies. I used to love that site's weekly newsletter. Now most of the "articles" are just advertisers, and there are fewer and fewer helpful shots or scoops (been quite a while since secret dealer incentives and residuals were posted here). They've even started posting photoshop renditions from some of their own readers (like I care what Joe Blow's photoshop of a BMW 7 series looks like).

Still it is worth a glance since it is a gathering place for all the latest info from various automakers.

I have a mixed reaction toward this. I think it looks very nice, but on the other hand it does not look like an MB. I think they should go evolution and keep the round lights. W203 has a more classic and timeless look to it.

Compare to these pics, they look similar

Looks too Japanese, especially with those Camry headlights.

The wagon looks too much like a Chrysler Pacifica.

Hey did they change the design. I remember seeing pictures before and I always felt it looked like an Acura. But this one, damn, I like it.

I don't like the front in the 1st 2 pics.
I like the back. The front in the last pic is also more agreeable. Actually it looks like a bangle front. The 1st 2 fronts look just like the camry/lexus POS fronts.

I Like It!
It looks like a cross between a S-Class and an W211. IMO better looking than the upcoming BMW E90.

I really like it, only complaint is that they better hold off on making the headlights any bigger or it will look as ugly as the Lexus ES class. Points that I like, they are going with the current "trend" in making the side windows smaller vertically and sloping the door lines down to make it look more agressive. The rear doesn't look as stale as the current model and goes with more of their higher end models. It seems as though they are doing what BMW did and redoing the entire line in a similar look.

Looks like there are some CLS influences there.
Will have to see it when it comes out but I think it looks good.

Look closer - the sedan is not even the same car on different pictures. These are graphic art renditions once again.

i thought the headlights looked like they came from the slk350. anyway, I like it. I would trade the 2005 in for the 2007 when the time comes.

wow, these "pictures" are now getting me to like it! it looks pretty good in these pics. I'm starting to imagine how the new C55 will look. Hopefully in late 2007, I'll have the ends to trade in my '05 C230k for the big boi '08 55 AMG.

yeah, it does look bigger, but I'm banking on the fact that they're just renditions or spy pics for now or that they have angles that make them look large.

it does look very cls ish though... good stuff. can't wait to see actual pics and official stuff from mb, but it'll make our w203's drop in price.

these look like renderings for the next E class....not C

the wheel base looks longer, the headlights are more like modified S then SLK...and the last sedan pic is old news - faked and shopped by some British car mag

if the next c-class looks like that , very nice, looks like a mini CLS. I'd be surprised if they use this design, though, bcs the c usually looks like a baby s-class, but you never know

I'm not a big fan of the CLS, but I do like this rendition of the 2007 C-Class. I HATE the way the sloped back looks. I think this generation of C and S-Class has the best looking behind out of any generation. Oh well, back that *** up!

I love the CLS because its a nice experiment and doesnt replace anything in the MB line up. ITs different than other MB models and its overall distintictive. However if they make design all their cars with CLS cues it will dilute the original power the CLS currently has. When everything looks the same it gets boring.

c250 2.5 204bhp
c300 3.0 231bhp
c350 3.5 258bhp

diesel:
c180 2.0 CDI 150bhp
c200 2.0 CDI 177bhp
c220 2.2 CDI 204bhp (the same as a 320CDI!!! the 2005 c220 version have 150bhp )
