High temperature transmission fluid C250-2012- 722.9
Hi everyone,
i using obd2 to read data, Temperature trans fluid is so high with 117*C . No check engine light. average speed 18km/h on two hours in city.
Is this normal ? my car is c250-2012.

That seems a bit high. My tranny temps on both my cars never goes above 180°F (80°C). Do you have the ECO Start/Stop feature? If so, disable it.

From my limited research on the W204 transmission I'm assuming the trans fluid temp should be similar to the coolant temp.
I'm thinking "operating temp" is around 90 c.
If i were seeing higher temps i would probably service the trans to inspect the condition of the fluid and filter.
Was anything recently worked on, or just scan the car for fun and noticed this?
