Hi guys, so my baby is sitting at 104k miles now and i think it's about time to change my transmission fluid, i have done my own oil changes and one coolant flush, but never thought about the transmission till now. Did my research, majority of people say its not lifetime fluid, nothing is! Upset i didn't know that till now, im sorry if u recommend a shop or professional but personally i'm never taking my cars ever again to a mechanic especially the stealership. anywho... i can provide part numbers and pictures when i get under the car, it does seem like a need a fluid extractor compared to draining oil to get to the inside of the pan? sorry i'm still learning. i have the tools but if i do need anything "special" for this project please lmk. since it's been so long probably the first time its had a transmission change, should i flush it as well? Runs well nonetheless, could be better.

Here is a link to your datacard. You have CodeA89 which is the Reduced-Friction identifier. You need the blue fluid, ATF-134FE (or a derivative thereof) meeting MB 236.15.

NO. Do not flush! Drain and fill. If your torque converter has a drain plug, you can drain that, as well, otherwise just drain and fill with a new filter, of course.
Here is the official procedures document attached.
