Power Loss
Hello there! New guy here.
So i have a 2011 C250 4Matic (a W204 i think) and i am currently experiencing some power loss issues.
While driving, immediately i reach 70kmh, the car goes into limp mode, it no longer accelerates even if i floor it and the ESP indicator light starts blinking.
When my speed drops below 70kmh, the blinking ESP indicator light stops, i regain power and can accelerate again until it gets to 70kmh again and the same thing repeats itself.
But when i turn off Driveassist and the ESP light comes on, i can accelerate normally without the car going into limp mode as from 70kmh.
Anyone ever had this problem and if yes, please how did you go about resolving it?

The first thing you need to do is buy for yourself a Mercedes-specific scanner, such as the LAUNCH Creader Elite 2.0 BENZ. It is under $200 USD on Amazon. Read the codes and post here what faults you have.

Yes, a Mercedes specific obd scanner is the way to go.
I was just looking around on AliExpress and they have the Launch Creaders for Mercedes very cheap, saw one for $78.57.
