Question about cabin heating
I got also S205 (but I am keeping my S204 and prepared it for long winter sleep
) and noticed that immediately I start the engine in S205 the hot air goes instantly into the cabin if temperature is set to hot, for example 24 degrees Celsius (75,2 in Farhenheits). In my S204 it takes sometimes up to 10 minutes to hot air start blowing into the cabin (need to wait until the engine is warmed up to working temperature of 86 degrees Celsius). Is this normal thing? Ok, maybe not 10 minutes, but 5 minutes at least.
I think I had it like this in almost 13 years of ownership, but not sure 100% because I noticed this on newer model. Is this some sort of normal behavior, or this is some sort of additional equipment that you car need to have?
I remember when my dad had W124 it also heated immediately - if I am not wrong there is some system of high pressure valves that start heating just after the engine starts.

Don't know if turning A/C would help to heat more immediately (never used A/C during the winter).
So, it is like I assumed - you need to wait few minutes of driving so the engine get to the work temperature and then it will blow hot air.
To have it blow hot air immediately after starting the engine you need to have this system of high pressure valves that I have on S205 and my father had in W124.

My wife is like you it sounds and likes to turn the blower speed up manually and choose the vent arrangements manually. I let auto make the decisions.
