Windshield replacement question
So, I need to replace my windshield on my 2011 sport, best quote I got was from Safelite. Has anyone ever used them? Any thoughts? I have searched for local mom and pop shop and none to be had. Thanks in advance.

Also, Safelite can get Mercedes OE glass if you ask, or can use a variety of generic brands. Always ask for Mercedes glass. Check the etched on name, not the Genuine Mercedes or Gottlieb Daimler sticker because that’s a $3.00 appliqué. MB glass is made by Sekurit, Saint Gobain, or Pilkington.

I did not reach out to safelite although I did mention it on the review. I corrected all issues myself. If you know what a "good" job looks like, you'll be fine.
QUOTE=cvx5832;9066239]As pointed out, each store will rate differently, and will even vary by technician. I've had 3 replacements. On one they forgot to connect the water line to the washer. On another they scratched my hood (~2 inches) right at the edge closest to the glass. The other one was perfect. The dealership did my E-class. On that one the cowl was not properly clicked into the rubber on the lower edge of the glass.
