ABS lamp question

Question ABS lamp question
Hello everyone.
I was "playing" on a empty parking lot (where there was snow and ice).
The abs system seems working fine. brake pedal shaking and wheels block and go fine.
But i wondering. should the ABS Lamp in speedo cluster not flashing when ABS system is active? My previous car (A toyota) does it.
The antispin lamp works fine and flashing when rear wheel spinning.
I have no error codes or messages.

I don't think I get any messages about abs when active but I know the traction control will make the traction control light blink.

aha. ok. So the ABS lamp shall only be lit, if there are malfunctions etc.

A other question about lamps in speedo.
Should the Flat tyre lamp not be lit at lamp check (before engine start)
I have original mercedes tyre sensors installed.

I checked my 2014 c300 and it looks like pretty much every light lights up on unital key turn/lamp check

Ahh thank you for the excellent picture.
I must book time at Mercedes dealer to fix this.
My local mechanic have paired the tyre sensors. But this seems not enough.

Okay so it snowed here today and I can confirm for you that the ABS lights do not come in when the abs pulses while siding

Thank you for the good info.
So i will only focus to get "flat tire" symbol to function correct at startup.
I tried to make a "fake" flat tire (empty the air to 0,2 bar). Just before the rim edge touch the road.
No warning at all.

No faking it like that won't work because the tire needs to be rotating for the sensor too report tire pressure
