2008 C300 luxury sedan
Comparability help
Hi😃,
I'm currently looking for help/advice on what parts are interchangeable for my car.
Currently have a 2008 c300 luxury sedan and working on rebuilding it. Had a front end crash that's currently held together with zip ties and temporary welds.
I'm just looking to see up to what year I can pull parts from. Specifically structural/interior.
Anything would help. Currently found a 2011 c300 with a few parts I could pull but do not have enough knowledge of Mercedes.
Ps. This is my first car and I feel pride and joy in working on it as much as I can on my own without taking it to a shop.

From my experience there should be a part# stamped somewhere on every part, either a label, sticker or actually stamped into the metal.
Would be best to use your vin to see what submodel it is then match up parts that way. Either buy the specific part# or look up the submodel from the donor car.
Be careful buying parts off ebay where just a photo of the donor car is shown and not the actual part, i did that once and when i should have received a sport strut i was sent a luxury strut. That was the 1st and last time i bought that way. Now i want to see the actual part with clear photos of the part#.
Most parts should be the same 2008-2011, im assuming. But i can see some parts being specific depending on what engine is in it, also if its 4matic or RWD. Then electrical parts and harnesses, example halogen headlights vs xenon, things like headlight washer system, and then bumpers with parking sensors.
