Not sure what this means. It's cold in Iowa but... I pulled the overhead interior sensor/fan and cleaned it. It seems to be working (B10/4 in photo). I could breathe on it, and it goes up. Does anyone know anything about N70b1? I thought that was the overhead sensor but apparently not? Maybe iCarsoft can't read it? Thanks.
Thats strange because I can heat the overhead sensor with a heat gun and B 10/4 value changes a ton. N70b1 stays at -127.99C all the time.
Hello Nautipirate, i have the exact same problem my A/C is not working. It is not getting its 12V, when reading the fault code with icarsoft it also reads out a temperature of -127,99 degrees on the N70b1 interieur temp sensor. I also took out the printboard, and cleaned the sensor but when measuring it was 7.1K ohm, then when heating it up it was dropping to 3.5K ohm. For me it looks it is working. But as i was reading at this forum it still could be the sensor.
Did you replace the sensor and was the reading normal again + a working A/C?
I hope you can help me!
My N70B1 still reads bad. When I heat that sensor overhead up, the other temp reading changes (B 10/4). I haven't figured out how to get the dash temp sensor out yet. I want to make sure they are both clean and tested. I get mixed information on the web, so I want to get to both sensors and pull them both up at the same time on the scanner and watch them together. Somewhere on the scanner, you can pull them both up and see them at the same time. My overhead sensor is definitely not the N70B1 according to the scanner. So, I'm still lost.
Hi, ok if i search for this sensor everywhere i see it is located in the overhead. So thats strange, but you did not replace the overhead sensor i guess? If i have doubt about the overhead sensor and maybe want to place a normal resistor of 1K to see if it will activate my A/C. When i found something i will let you know.
