Code: P001600

Dears, i have this code P001600 on my mercedes w204 2013.
what could be the problem and the solution?
and my engine makes some noise on cold start for a few seconds

What model and engine? Is the check engine light also on?
P0016 is camshaft position sensor on almost all W204 MB engines. But probable cause and remedy vary. It can also be a spurious code. Delete it and see if it returns.

It is w204 2013 C250. I deleted it but returned.
check a technician and told me that we could have a problem with stretched chain/tensioner
however my engine has been only started for 160,000 km

The tech may be on the right path. 100,000 miles (~160,000 km) is where many of the M271 EVO (turbo I4) engines have experienced worn timing chains. The startup noise that you hear may be chain slap, but may also be the beginning of failing camshaft adjusters. When one or both of the adjusters fail completely, there will be additional trouble codes, the noise will be very loud, and the car will become hard to start. If you replace the timing chain, it may be a good time to replace the camshaft also if you can afford the extra cost. The camshaft adjusters on my ‘13 C250 failed first. I replaced both adjusters, the timing chain, and the tensioner all at one time because labor is a large part of the cost if you have a shop do the work.

Putting my pad away for the night, I noticed my error:

should read
”it may be a good time to replace the camshaft ADJUSTERS also if you can afford the extra cost.“

There should be nothing wrong with the camshafts themselves.
