2013 Intermittent backup camera
The backup camera screen activates on the dash when put in reverse but sometimes the screen was black. Happening much more often now and seems to start working again (or not working) after I open/close the trunk lid.
From what I've read, sounds like it might be the wiring running up into the trunk lid that causes the camera to black out like that? There are no other electrical or functional issues in the vehicle.
If so, which side does the wiring run up into the trunk lid and is there a particular area i should examine?

You will have to just disassemble and follow the wire to see if it did get pinched. If you don't find bad wire the camera could be going bad.
