ETA on ordering avaliability?
If I remember correctly, pricing and the ordering guide for the CLA was available well before it was sold last September.
Anyone have any idea when MB would release pricing and allow folks to start pre-ordering?

Base price was out quickly due to the low price point on the CLA, the production is supposed to start in June in AL, the cars will be pre-spec'd by MBUSA and dropped into our inventories... Customer orders should start in the April/May time frame as the second wave of cars should be ready for specific requests. As for pricing I would say within 60-90 days of official launch they should announce pricing so the first or second round of customers will be ordering blindly like most of the initial CLA45 orders.

MBUSA rewards the early adopters by putting packages together at discounted prices. I purchased a 2012 C204 the month they were released and received an extra $1000 of options at no cost. The car came with multimedia, six CD changer and rear camera for $1000 less than the retail price. You just need to have the SA look through the available inventory in your area to see what is available and be flexible.

MBUSA priced the options a total of $1000 less for the early inventory that they optioned. The prices went back up to normal a short time later. i do not know how long but I think it was only a short while. There was a special option code on the sticker.

I am working with my dealer and I am currently second on the list to receive an allocation for an order for the 2015 C-Class. My dealer said they will start production in June and I will be able to order my car in may and that I am second on the list to receive an allocation for a build. I had to put down a $1,000 deposit as well. I have the preliminary information that Mercedes has sent to the dealers with options information if anyone would like to see it!

Other than the engine, the new c300 is pretty much on par with the old c300 being 4matic and 'almost' the same horsepower, so I suspect pricing would indeed be similar to the current c300. BUT, a rear wheel drive version is supposedly going to be available in Q1 2015, which would be the "truest" C250 replacement.
Very interested in what kind of savings can be had for a -non- 4matic c300.
