AGILITY select vs. AIRMATIC
I just received a new order guide from my dealer and they have a AIRMATIC package.
Can anyone tell me difference between AGILITY SELECT vs. AIRMATIC air suspension? I know that AGILITY SELECT lets you choose the suspension mode between ECO, SPORTS, SPORT+ but then what does AIRMATIC do?

IICR....airmatic suspension is just the general term for for the entire air suspension. agility select is the set of modes that are selectable for the suspension, be it standard or airmatic.
Both suspensions will have selectable modes, but the airmatic may have a couple of extra modes that the standard does not.

Agility select has electro-rheological/magneto-rheological dampers.

Airmatic allows the car to change ride height.
This will give you self leveling. As you load more passengers/bags/etc in the car, the car will pump more air to bring the car back to the correct ride height.
Height adjustment with mode changes. When you select different agility modes the car will lower/raise in conjunction with dampening changes.
Fuel savings. The car will lower at highway speeds to reduce drag.
Better Snow/off-roading driving. You can select a mode that will raise the car to its highest for extra ground clearance if needed. (No kidding the car will look like a 4x4 truck)
In general there is a big difference in how the car feels in all modes.
This is all the stuff Airmatic has done before in higher model cars. I am not sure if Mercedes has dumbed down the Airmatic for the C class so i don't know if it will do some or all of what I mentioned above.
