4Matic fuel consumption

I checked the fuel consumption figures on the CLA250 and couldn't believe how much is lost with 4Matic. I don't know if there will be similar numbers for the W205 C300's.

MB shows you get 2 mpg less in city driving and 6 mpg less on the highway. I will have to wait until I can get a two wheel drive model. All the reports about improved fuel economy will be lost if you have to get 4Matic.

2010 E350 4Matic
Can't speak about a CLA no interest in one either but very little difference between E350 and E350 4matic mileage

4matic could be cool, depending on average weather conditions where one lives. i think even if there's a small hit to fuel economy, having 4matic can outweigh that. with the weight savings upfront, mpg numbers for 4matic may be similar to current w204 (in the US)..i just did a search and i'm having trouble finding US mpg numbers for the w205, BUT, like i said, weight savings could make it very comparable.
